"To whom it may concern:

I am a self-employed contract project manager that was working for one of the world’s largest food companies in the winter of 2006 when I was first exposed to Astro Engineering and George Ross. I was in put in charge of a large project for that company’s snack division that involved the handling of whole fried grain. We wanted to replace grain ladders with stainless steel grain slides in 7 large tanks. Astro was selected prior to me coming on board, but George was extremely helpful in getting me up-to-date on the order.

We ordered seven screw-like grain slides, fourteen total pieces. These were 32” in diameter and 20’ long, made of 304 stainless steel. I needed to increase the level of finish on the slides, and George and his staff was very helpful in getting me the information I needed to make an informed decision. He even did some trials and sent me pictures, so I could be sure the finish and weld polishing was what the project needed, without spending too much. In the end, the slides came out just as I wanted, and the change order cost was extremely reasonable. The pieces came on schedule and went into the grain tanks and fit together as planned.

I was very satisfied with both the cooperation and finished work by Astro Engineering. I would consider them a worthy vendor for any project that required their capabilities."
